WHY I LOVE CHUCK NORRIS
When I was a kid I would watch a lot of movies on tv with my dad. Like Repo Man, TMNT, and They Live. There is no doubt that these films all had an affect on me and the films I am making now. But I also watched a lot of Chuk Norris films when I was kid. In particular I remember Missing In Action, Delta Force, Invasion U.S.A, and Sidekicks. My dad took me to see Sidekicks when I was about 9 or 10. The movie messed up halfway through but it was ok. See, my parents got divorced in 1992 and in the early times of it I would go do things with him, just the two of us. Going to see Sidekicks was one of those things. I also remember watching Norris films at his house. So in a way Chuck Norris is a connection I have to my dad and I will always cherish it. I still enjoy sitting around and talking about cheesy action films with him, and it always makes me smile. Chuck Norris is the kind of man I would like to become when I am older.
